It is this philosophy that drives our mission here at Castalia Strings.

My favorite teacher was an incredible violinist that I met when I was 14.
He taught me that music surrounds us, in all that we do and all that we are. Music is already happening all around us, and we are free to connect to it whenever we choose. When we play, we never begin the music; we simply join in to the music of the universe.

He taught me to pause before playing, to listen, and play with my whole heart and soul.

While he has since passed on, here at Castalia Strings we continue his legacy, and aim to make the unheard music materialize around us.
